        Scottish Country Dancing
Welcome to the Box Hill & District Scottish Society. We run regular Scottish Country Dancing nights in Box Hill in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Come and see and have a go at an easy dance tradition which exercises mind and body. Scottish Country Dancing is danced in  sets of usually 4 couples arranged in two lines with men facing ladies and who dance a sequence of formations. Everyone is welcome, you don't need to be Scottish or to bring a partner - all you need is comfortable casual clothing including a pair of flat, soft shoes. Beginners and experienced dancers all welcome.

Our ongoing Scottish Country Dancing classes are every Tuesday night from March to November at Surrey Hills Uniting Church, Cnr Canterbury Rd & Valonia Ave, Surrey Hills, 3127 (Melway 46 J11)
