Box Hill & District Scottish Society

Scottish Country Dancing

Welcome to the Box Hill & District Scottish Society. We run regular Scottish Country Dancing nights in Surrey Hills in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Come and see and have a go at an easy dance tradition which exercises mind and body. Scottish Country Dancing is danced in sets of usually 4 couples arranged in two lines with men facing ladies and who dance a sequence of formations. Everyone is welcome, you don't need to be Scottish or to bring a partner - all you need is comfortable casual clothing including a pair of flat, soft shoes. Beginners and experienced dancers all welcome.

We welcome new beginners or experienced dancers but request that you contact

Matthew 0477 031 777 or Susie 0425 883 218

before coming along.

or email

*Please bring your own water bottle to classes. We do not have access to the kitchens yet so supper/afternoon tea will not be served. Masks are strongly encouraged.
